sigh* (whiping forehead). well, its about time! my last final just ended about twenty minutes ago. im kinda thinking i actually passed my oceanography class...lets hope so! anyways, Kyky should be over in an hour to pick me up for the Legoland Xmas party tonight.
this party is sorta a farwell to Legoland for me, because guess what?! Joe, guess what? > I got the Libreary job!!! they called me today and said i got the position! YYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

Wells, do i have wicked news or what?!!! Kyky got 2 free tickets to the Women's US Soccer Team vs Mexico!!! What!!! We're going tomorrow, and its all the way in Los Angeles. the game doesnt start till late, so were going to go see some sites before hand. ive never really been through LA, only driven through it. Im totally excited!
Another thing im excited about is the fact that Megan finally emailed me back. i was getting really scared for awhile there! she apoligized for not getting to my email in such a long time (halloween) and told me shed be coming down pretty soon, i imagine for christmas break.
Joe, youd be proud of me... remember those buying urges i was talking about the other day, well i overcame them, i didnt buy a siingle thing! yes! can someone say score for Ren?!
Anywho, i better start studying more for my oceanography test for thursday, since ill be gone all day tomorrow.

well, it sounds like all my hard work of working for dumb ass legoland just might actually pay off! im supposed to be recieving a decent sized bonus check this month. thank goodness i didnt quite awhile ago, or else i wouldnt be getting it.
although i have that to be thankful for, there are so many things that i really need to perchase this month, and not enough money to do so. First of all, i totally need to re-do my hair's roots, and i need shoes for the christmas party, and i need to keep saving up for my birthday vegas style, and i still need to get christmas gifts for my mom and brother. jeez! im also having those evil thoughts where i want to spend some money on myself, you know, treat myself to something. no, no, Lauren, dont even look at the mall right now!!! turn away, TURN AWAY!
My new cat Harley is totally PIMP STYLE! he's a british shorthair, and if your woundering what that looks like, he looks just like the "Puss in Boots" from Shrek 2, except about 30 pound overweight. He's huge, but he has the cutest little wanna - be kitten meow. i love him to death! thats it now, hope everyones holidays are going well! RockabillyRen

My title page for my 10 page research paper looks so dope Joe! Im talking professional style! I found a background after many hours of searching...its a painting close up of a green monster with no eyes and fangs and then i changed my title font to something even more scary than before. Im so excited now! i just dont know about the printing of it, i know my printer can NOT handle it! no way in hell! perhaps you and me will take another trip to Kinkos one of these days. Well, im back from Frisco...had a blast!
but i also got sick over there, and im still sick! man. i feel like shit and no matter how much meds i take or what kind, i still feel no different.
About my trip: we went to pier 39 and a huge dog park with magnificent views of the ocean against the forest. later, we went to China Town and i got some slippers and a sun unbrella with cherry blossoms painted on it, and a chineese lantern. For Holloween we went to a bar with Ky's sisters and husbands and almost everyone there was dressed up. it was really fun seeing all the different costumes. i think my bellydancer costume was one of the best. i even got some drinks.
On another day, ky and i went to the MOMA; museum of modern art. it was alright. its so beautiful in Frisco, i would really like to live there one day perhaps.

Sometimes, i think im going to do great and beautiful things later on in life. Like im going to make something, and express something with my art that will change peoples lives, change the way they look at the world. How i wish that day would come soon.
Othertimes, i worry that i will end up not doing anything significant in life, and that ill end up as another slob or clone...like my parents, just being machines and nothing more. i feel trapped, and unable, as if i can not achieve the things that i truely want to do, and what is meant to be for me. I believe everyone has a purpose in life, i just want to know what mine is.

Well, Ill be recieving my oceanography test today, in one hour to be exact. if i dont do well on this one, then im just going to give up on the testing part of the course. there are still plenty of other points for me to make in order to pass the class.
also, im starting a new project in art...its a theme: Irish Folklore. so far ill be depicting 2 fairies riding on bees, the irish flag, mermaids and a leprocaun under a rainbow. pretty wicked huh?
Ky-ky's coming down tomorrow, but we dont have any plans made. we're so broke now we cant even go to the movies. but its all right though, because were saving up for our trip to Vegas. Only 2 more months and this lucky girl writing you will officially be 21!!!!!!! it seems like just yesterday i was learning how to drive for the first time, and now, Im going to be able to get into any damn place i want to!! Hells Yeah!!! First we're concouring Vegas, and then the WORLD! okay, okay, maybe not the world, but definatley San Diego and Orange County.
Im not trying to be mean here, but isnt it kinda weird the way Japaneese people sound when they talk to each other. their vouls are just so funky. Ive got 2 Japaneese girls sitting next to me in the hub right now.
God, im so tired right now. Ive got about 15 more minutes until i scurry off to oceanography. i can barely keep my eyes open. ive been craving chineese food for like a week now. man that sounds good, with this combination of being cold and wet from the rain, having a nice chineese meal at my favorite resturant in oceanside. yeah, i wish. bloddy hell...now the girls sitting next to me are coughing like crazy, they better not get me sick. there really arnt that many cute boys at this school. and the ones that do exist dont seem to notice anyone around them. everyone here just keeps to themselves. in a way, thats kinda dissapointing to me, because im currently in the market for new friends. its just Joe and Kyle now. and pretty soon, Joe will be back to Guam, so all ill have left is Kyle. i miss my female friends. its just not the same without them. Megans in frisco for school now, and everyone else dosnt have any "time" for me anymore. i love Eunice to death, but the last few times weve hung out, shes been trippin way too much and makes me feel uncomfortable. i really wish Ky and i could go to a halloween costume party this year. im bumbed cause i cant afford the costume i want, and we have no place to go. whatever, im sure Knotts Scarry Farm will make up for that loss.
